MATTEO RENZI GOES VISITING K4A: The NEAPOLITAN COMPANY SIGNED an AGREEMENT with CHINA for a HELICOPTER FROM 32 MILLION
Mr Matteo Renzi Council tomorrow will be visiting Naples and before going to Bagnoli will go to K4A, a young company that has signed trade agreements with China. Renzi’s visit precedes a meeting that the Prime Minister will have the 16 October in Milan with the gentlemen of the great Eastern powers, especially China. The K4A ( Knowledge for Aviation) SpA, a company with offices in Lazio and Campania owned by an investment fund managed by the ERDF ROP I.3 Filas SpA – Financial Lazio Region , committed to creating an innovative family of light helicopters , has entered into a joint venture with the Chinese Changxing Aviation Equipment Corporation , a company that manufactures mechanical artifacts for major aerospace companies in the Asian country . The K4A is a young company but with ambitious goals .
The signing ceremony was held at the Italian Embassy in Beijing, in the presence of Alberto Bradanini .
The joint venture, to $ 32 million , leading to the birth of Jiangxi Helicopter Deli Industrial co. Ltd , based in Jing de Zhen ( in Jiangxi Province ) , an important Chinese helicopter .
Investments in money , as provided in the Agreement, will be exclusively in the hands of the Chinese partner . The Italian K4A put on the plate its innovative project , undertaken by young engineers. K4A the collaboration of 28 employees, 68% of whom graduated in engineering and with an average age under 40 years .
The production of the helicopter and its marketing in China and the Asia Pacific region ( APAC ) will be responsible exclusively to the Jiangxi Helicopter Deli Industrial co. Ltd. The new company will have a registered capital of 29 million dollars and K4A will hold 48 % of the shares . In three years, the scheme, the company will build 150 helicopters a year.
The agreement will allow K4A also develop parallel business , such as consulting with the regulations in China light aircraft and ultralight flight schools and construction of small airports for general aviation .
“This joint venture – said Dario Scalella , president K4A – shows how important it is to invest in research and innovation, enhancing the resources of our territories. Is an urgent need to curb the brain drain not to squander the wealth of skills and talents that Italy possesses.

The idea of the joint venture was born out of this common idea and a year of hard work and due diligence crossed. ” The agreement calls for the next October, the final tuning of the engine in the configuration of the first flight at the end of 2014 the prototype of the helicopter will be ready for ground tests and , in less than a year, there will be the first flight of the prototype 2-seater .
K4A is preparing to revive the experience of ongoing cooperation with the Chinese partner in other macro-regions of the world.
