NAPLES TO COVER….DISNEY

At the Comicon, the long-awaited and now consecrated comic fair, to be held May 1 to 4 at Overseas Exhibition, the famous weekly Disney comics for kids, “Mickey Mouse” dedication to the city of Naples, the cover by two runners-up: the designer Blasco Pisapia and INKING Mirka Andolfo, real legends of Disney Italy.


The image-which depicts a Donald unusually enthusiastic and indicates the gulf in a serene sunrise spring-is not that the first cover in which the beautiful Partenope and the volcano are the protagonists: in fact, the first issue of “Topostorie” (another publication Disney After the recovery of the “classics”) will feature Amelia witch-character created by Carl Barks in ’61 with the features of Sophia Loren.

The wicked witch and fascinating enemy of Uncle Scrooge will naturally be on the cover, flying on her broom, backed by an impressive Vesuvius in eruption.
