TUSCANY LANDS IN CHINA WITH CENTRE ‘REFIT’ MEGAYACHT
The boating Tuscan lands in China, bringing the excellence of the district of Viareggio in Sanya, on the Chinese island of Hainan, considering the new haven for VIPs in the Far East and destined to become one of the most important areas for the yacthing level world. The initiative, which involves an investment of 30 million euro, was presented today at the Councillor Florence Tuscan productive activities Gianfranco Simoncini, along with, among others, Andrea Giannicchini, head of the new company, Tuscan-Chinese (with 51% of the capital in the hands of Italian). The investment plan to enable an annual turnover of EUR 25 million to 30 million, specializing in ‘refit’, namely the maintenance of megayachts that are often their products in Italy and in the district of Tuscany. On the tropical island of Hainan, the two areas will be carried out to refit for large boats. The first, a service center 10 thousand square meters, was inaugurated last March. By 2015 a second center will be born, for larger boats, in an area of 60 thousand square meters. The Visun Tuscany Yachting will become the most important center for refitting of South East Asia.
