ASIA SUMMER TOUR CONTINUES! AFTER HONG KONG; NEXT STOP BEIJING FOR PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN WHO LANDED IN THE CHINESE CAPITAL ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Asia Summer Tour continues! After Hong Kong; next stop Beijing for Paris Saint-Germain who landed in the Chinese capital on Wednesday afternoon. The Parisians left Hong Kong on Wednesday morning, after their 6-2 victory over Kitchee the previous evening. A quick breakfast and the players left their hotel at 7am. Half an hour later, Les Rouge et Bleu were at the airport ready for their Emirates aeroplane to take off just before 10am.

The Parisians used the three-hour flight to catch a couple of hours more sleep after their early start. The entire delegation then got to their hotel around 15:00 and, like in Hong Kong, they received a great welcome from their local fans. Huge banners, French songs, flags… Paris Saint-Germain are without a doubt a very popular club in Asia and the two million fans that follow the club on the Chinese social media are more and more passionate.Les Rouge et Bleu then headed to their own meeting room for lunch before it was back to the rooms for a short rest. In the late afternoon, most of the players enjoyed their first training session in Beijing at the Chaoyang Sport Center. It was a light session after the previous night’s game and the flight and one group of players jogged laps of the pitch while others warmed-up before a small training game. After initially working apart, Edinson Cavani took part in the scratch match.Salvatore Sirigu, Zoumana Camara, Thiago Motta, Marco Verratti and Zlatan Ibrahimovic remained at the team hotel, heading to the hotel Fitness Center (bike for the former, running machine for the others). Everyone met back at the hotel in the early evening for dinner. Tomorrow is another day that brings more preseason training…
