FORMULA 1. MERCEDES ALSO DOMAIN AT MONZA WITH HAMILTON AND ROSBERG, FERRARI OFF THE TRACK
Sprint out of Nico Rosberg burning on the grid Lewis Hamilton on pole. Thus begins the Grand Prix in Monza with the usual battle between the two Mercedes drivers that dominate tests and competitions. At the green light only Rosberg shows his aggression and desire to win. In the first ten laps, just when it seems to take off Nico makes a mistake in one of the curves and lose a few seconds, allowing the group that was behind to catch up. The Ferraris of Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen still reeling in the rear without any pretensions, at least in the first 25 laps. It’s hard to keep up with the Mercedes. We feel the ups and downs between Williams and Red Bull, but never seem to worry Rosberg and Hamilton. At lap 30 Rosberg new error allowing Hamilton to pass his teammate. Same lap and stops Alonso. The Red number 14 is stopped at the side of the track. The audience applauds Monza, Alonso darkened thanks and leave the track. It’s an engine failure. After 86 races a car driven by Alonso comes to engine failure, probably a power outage that shut off the engine.
The race goes on like this until the 53rd lap, with the two Mercedes in pairs in front of the finish line at Monza for the umpteenth double of the season. In short, we are at the absolute domination of the German reflected on both the drivers’ standings ahead with Rosberg and the Mercedes that has outperformed the competition.
