Forlan’s experience in Japan, in the ranks of Cerezo Osaka, seems to have come to an end. As reported by Mundodeportivo, the former Inter striker would be close to the transfer to China. On the trail of the 35 year-old Uruguayan striker there would be two Chinese teams, namely Beijing Guoan and Hangzhou Greentown.
Forlan would have no intention to stop playing and China, at this point, seems the most likely destination, although there are rumors of an important offer also from India.
