CHINA OPENS THE PACIFIC RAILROAD linking IN MADRID
It could be the world’s longest rail service. China has opened a service of freight trains that connects the city of Yiwu, in the eastern part of the country and the Spanish capital Madrid.
Yiwu is the largest wholesale market in the world with regard to small consumer goods.
On Tuesday, a train with eighty container was the first convoy to travel the entire route of the line “Yixin’ou,” says the news agency Xinhua: the line runs from Yiwu part, through the western provinces of the former Celeste empire, Central Asia, Europe and worldwide since arriving in the Iberian Peninsula.
Twenty-one days required to complete a route that ultimately count more than thirteen thousand kilometers and crossed six countries. as well as those of departure and arrival: Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany and France.
For the important trade city of Yiwu is the opportunity to open new channels of trade with foreign countries, to replace those far off the beaten path of air and sea transport, told the official Xinhua Customs Lin Jiang.
