FROM CHINA TO NAPLES TO LEARN THE ART OF PIZZA
From the Far East in the shadow of Vesuvius to learn the noble art of pizza in the city that the food world famous birthplace. And ‘the purpose, for now, 40 Chinese children, a first group to which others will follow in the future, that will arrive in Naples in the coming days. Their dream is made possible by a memorandum of understanding signed between the training school bell Aciief and the association Hello China, which deals with cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The Asian students, who will be followed by pizza masters of Aciief for the gastronomic side, but that will be also offered Italian language courses, will achieve at the end of the course a regional qualification spendable throughout Europe.
“These guys – explains the director of the school Aciief Dolores Cuomo – will then return to their homeland with culinary skills that the world envies us, or decide to settle in the Union or, like many of our other students, to assert their luggage to arrive in other continents. It ‘an opportunity as much for them as for us, because cultural exchanges can only be positive opportunities for growth. ”
Great satisfaction was expressed also by Jun Qin, president of China Hello: “Your pizza – he says – is famous in China, a land that has a culinary tradition as important as the Italian one. And ‘why I wanted to bring the two cultures. ”
There are many Chinese children who have asked to participate in this project, confirms Jun, so it needed a selection. “They are all students of food and wine in China – continues – but these guys, when undertaking similar experiences, are almost exclusively in states like France or the US.
