GUCCI, in CAPRI COCKTAIL to CELEBRATE the FLORA 19 and 20 July

Capri, where they will be exposed through a special display archival Flora designs from Gucci of Florence Museum. For the occasion, the craftsmen of the maison will be pleased to customize with the initials Gucci scarf which guests buy.
At the exhibition there will be a selection of scarves and original 1970s designs of Illustrator Vittorio Accornero dedicated to Flora.
The press was founded in 1966 when Princess Grace of Monaco with her husband, Prince Rainier, visited Gucci store on via Montenapoleone. On that occasion Rodolfo Gucci, wishing to make a giveaway gift special, commissioned the artist Vittorio Accornero creating a floral pattern for an original silk scarf. The answer was a scarf printed with nine bouquet of flowers of all seasons, with berries, butterflies, dragonflies and insects painted with wonderful elegance, rich colours and beautiful craftsmanship. A drawing that revives all seasons thanks to its evocative and timeless design.
The preparation of the exhibition and the maison’s artisans will remain in the store of Capri on July 19 and 20.
