HYPLANE, THE NAPOLETAN PLANE THAT WILL COLLEGE ROME IN NEW YORK IN LESS THAN TWO HOURS

It’s a 26-meter plane. In less than two hours, a maximum of six passengers boarded in Rome can arrive in New York. The aircraft does not follow the routes but flies at 70 kilometers and up to a maximum of 100 kilometers. His name is Hyplane and is a project already in the executive phase resulting from the collaboration between Federico II University and the Center for Near Space.
The aircraft will also be used as a hypersonic spacecraft to connect distant points of the Earth faster, taking advantage of the parabolic flight.
Hyplane is a project in line with the most recent orientations of private companies that, in contrast to what government agencies do, approach space flight “with a low cost philosophy”. Privileging, for example, small aircraft. Like this one that promises to cover the Rome-New York route in less than two hours. How much will a ticket cost? To date it would cost between 30 and 50 thousand euros. Not exactly an inexpensive ticket. Who knows, maybe things will change in the next few years. What we can say is that Hyplane is a project coordinated by Federico II and born in the Dac, aerospace district of Campania.
