THE SUV OF PININFARINA FOR CHINA ARRIVES DX7

An Italian SUV for the Chinese market: it was unveiled at the Shanghai DX7, the sports crossover designed by Pininfarina for the House of Fujian, the Soueast, a joint venture between Fujian Motor Industry Group, Mitsubishi and builder China Motor Corporation.
Thanks to the design of the Piedmont group, DX7 had already won, in his first appearance at the Guangzhou Motor Show in 2014, the prize “The local brand of SUVs most anticipated” attributed by over 100 media and over 50 thousand visitors. “DX7, the SUV with a touch of high class Italian”, so is advertised for new and muscular car on the Chinese market.
Even the Chinese press specializing gives prominence to Italian design. “This car sets a new benchmark for the segment SUV and we are sure that it will be met with success from the market,” he said in a statement the CEO of Pininfarina, Silvio Pietro Angori.
The company of Turin was the first home of Italian design to provide design and engineering services to manufacturers of Chinese cars since 1996. The cooperation between Pininfarina and Soueast began three years ago. “The DX7 expresses all the know-how Pininfarina and skills that are perfect for the Chinese market: design research and development aimed at defining a timeless beauty in the best tradition of Italian style”.
The DX7, 154 horsepower, with a maximum torque of 210 nm, is 4.5 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.7 meters high with a wheelbase of 2.7 meters. The stylish interior has a two-tone finish, leather seats, a center console, a large LCD screen and the panoramic sunroof. The price starts from 100 000 yuan (about 15 000 euro) and is the first SUV brand Soueast. Will be on sale from July.
