NAPOLETAN MUSIC FANS IN CHINA WITH THE NEW ORCHESTRA SCARLATTI

Everything is ready for the mission in China of the New Orchestra Scarlatti. With Bizet’s Carmen directed by Gianluca Martinenghi, he has completed the test cycle that has involved over 50 orchestra professors representing Naples and the country in the East. The debut is scheduled for 9th November with Carmen at the Tianjin Grand Theater.

Twenty-two total dates for the lyric works, to which will be added five dates for symphonic concerts. In China the New Scarlatti will bring Don Giovanni, the Barber of Seville, the Traviata, a masked ball, the Carmen, the Bohème. To alternate with the direction of Nuova Scarlatti some of the most prestigious and appreciated Italian orchestra directors.

Among the outstanding appointments in China, the New Orchestra Scarlatti participated in the Oscar of the Hainan Lirica on December 20th, with protagonists of the world lyric scene such as Maria José Siri, Giovanna Casolla, John Osborne, Carlo Colombara. For New Year’s Day New Scarlatti “celebrates” twice: in China with one of Carmen’s reps while in Naples will hold the usual New Year’s Concerto.
