MONOPOLY MADE IN NAPLES, SELLING FEBBRA AT A PLAY AT THE DEBUTTURE OF SATURDAY NOVEMBER 11
More and more the “monopoly fever” in Naples, in view of the upcoming release of the Limited Edition in the Partisan version of the famous company game, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th. The flagship of the world’s most famous and best-selling table game, created by Elizabeth Magie in the early 20th century and first put on sale in 1935, was customized on the Parthenope toponomastica: via Partenope, Via Posillipo , Sannazaro Square, Toledo Street, Piazza San Domenico Maggiore are just some of the streets that have replaced the streets of the classic version: Vittoria Park, Giardini Avenue, Streets.
This is the first time that Monopoly dedicates a special edition to an Italian city and, before Rome, Milan or Florence, Naples was chosen for this historic debut. The initiative, curated by the WStaff Partenope Agency, enjoys the patronage of the City of Naples and sees the involvement of important Neapolitan brands and many protagonists of Naples’s most dynamic and productive. There are twenty thousand copies made and distributed since November. Up to now, these custom-made editorial editions have only been made in the UK and, given the outstanding success, the producers have decided to extend the project to all over Europe to offer a playful experience of strong involvement: playing in fact moves on well-known roads, stays in regular meeting places, while Probability and Unprepared refer to situations, figures and places of immediate identification.
