PEPPE SERVILLO & SOLIS STRING QUARTET // PIETRO CONDORELLI IN “JAZZ IDEAS & SONG”. DOUBLE CONCERT FOR REGGIE OUTLET FOR #MODAMUSICA

A double event at the La Reggia Designer Outlet for #ModaMusica 2017. On Friday, July 21, from 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm, Piazza delle Palme will open the live performance Pietro Condorelli with the project “Jazz Ideas & Song”. A series of original compositions, of classics and of great re-readings, full of citations not just jazz: Among the various sources of inspiration is Jack Kerouac, the father of the beat generation. Pietro Condorelli, Milan’s birth and Neapolitan adoption, is one of the most authoritative signatures of Italian jazz. Next to him, live at the McArthurGlen Center in Marcianise (CE) will perform the singer Simona Boo, alternating in prestigious projects between jazz and bossa nova with the role of 99 posse chorist, flutist Francesca Masciandaro, double bassist Domenico Santaniello and drummer Claudio Borrelli. A quintet full of energy and technically refined for a show that goes beyond the traditional concept of jazz concert and is born from the desire to convey new emotions and feelings.

Immediately after the performance of Pietro Condorelli, the evening continues with the concert of Peppe Servillo & Solis String Quartet, which recover the event of June 17, canceled due to the thunderstorm. Three years after the release of “Spacious”, which he first saw Peppe Servillo and the Solis String Quartet face with respect to the masterpieces of the classic Neapolitan song, last summer comes “Presentation”, the natural continuation of a project Which reveals an extraordinary journey into an immense musical landscape. From Gil to Viviani, from E.A. Mario in Cioffi / Pisano, from “Scalinatella” to “Mmiez” or grain “to” M’aggia curà “, the list of authors and songs are chasing and rigorously clinging to a 360 ° show that touches music and theater.
The jazz performance Daniele Scannapieco Trio (July 28th), Mario Nappi 4et (August 4th) and Giulio Martino 4et (August 11th) are completed.
Saturday is a space for the Nameless Lounge (Universal) dj set.
