ICE ROADSHOW: RICCARDO MONTI WANTS 20,000 NEW COMPANIES READY TO EXPORT
There are five companies that participated in the Roadshow Trade Institute, the Institute for Foreign Trade in Naples with the intention of discovering the opportunities they offer markets outside Italy. “We have a clear goal, we want twenty thousand new exporters by the end of next year and at least a quarter, then five, imagine that could come from the south.” These are the words of Richard Monti, president of ICE, in the course of his speech.
Monti stressed that the Ice with his action would “encourage export additional fifty billion by the end of 2016 to do so we need to activate a complex machine. The demand is there, the world is hungry and wants to made in Italy. There are many companies that have good products and a good know-how but are not yet equipped to export and grow abroad. Our goal is to teach them that you can do and give them the tools to begin to do so. ”

As in every stage, the central moment of the event was represented by individual meetings with companies, during which time it has been proposed a real “check-up” capacity to export. Hundreds of businesses have received for free the first services offered by ICE, as well as a concrete output with the reporting of one or more registries of potential customers or commercial intermediaries in foreign markets.
The Roadshow is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is promoted and supported by the Ministry of Economic Development. In addition to ICE-agency, SACE and SIMEST, the event relies on the collaboration of Confindustria, Unioncamere, Enterprise Network Italy and Covenants of the Italian Cooperative.
The program has seen, after the opening of the Precious Ambrose, President of the Industrial Union of Naples, the intervention of the President of Ice, Riccardo Monti. It was then the turn of the technical session, opened by Alessandra Lanza, partner Prometeia, responsible business strategies and territorial.
