SONGS IN CHINESE AND NAPOLITAN WITH THE MULAN CHOIR IN THE NAME OF INTEGRATION

Songs in Neapolitan and Chinese to talk about integration through music. This is the project carried out by the small singers of the Mulan choir who have joined their voices singing songs in Chinese and Neapolitan in a concert put in the suggestive location of the Basilica of the Holy Spirit, in Toledo where there is an exhibition on the army of terracotta with the legendary Chinese army show.
The Mulan Choir is a group of white voices, aged between 6 and 10 years, composed of first and second / third generation Italian and Chinese children. Behind the idea there is “Ciao Cina”, a cultural association active in the Neapolitan territory with the aim of promoting the exchange and integration between the Chinese and Italian communities.
The choir, composed by students of the Caruso Music Academy, made its “debut” in a public event in Piazza del Gesù, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year 2018. The goal of these public appearances is to launch a crowdfunding campaign to allow to the choir to participate in an important contest in China, scheduled for next spring.
At the end of the performance of the choir, the audience was offered a Chinese tea tasting organized by Tèdiquori by Roberto Riccardi.

To host the event, the great reproduction of one of the most important discoveries in the history of archeology, the warriors of Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi, Eighth Wonder of the world. The exhibition “The Terracotta Army and the First Emperor of China” was extended until April 8th for the great success – over 50 thousand visitors in three months – and can be visited every day from 10 am to 8 pm (last admission at 7 pm ) in the Basilica of the Holy Spirit in via Toledo 402 in Naples.
