New agreement for the Chrysler Group in China, with FCA in the future (in the next four years) is preparing to play an important role in major Asian country.
Big goals for Fiat-Chrysler on opposite China. After the expansion of the agreement with the company Gac, the FCA Group is ready to expand the production of vehicles in the People’s Republic of China, reaching a total of 760,000 cars by 2018.
The official announcement of the new arrangements came directly from Guanghzou Motor Show 2014, being held these days in the big city of China, where the company’s place Gac (who already worked with Fiat-Chrysler) joined more firmly to FCA.
With the new agreement between Chrysler and Gac, China will come soon new Chrysler models, in addition to the wide choice already sanctioned by Fiat. It will also set up a single trading company with dealers common.
Besides the confirmation of the production, in China, three new Jeep by 2016, Fiat-Chrysler announced to want to exceed quota 760 000 vehicles by 2018, a factor that may be due to new investors and the doubling of network common among Gac and FCA.
As reported by the website of the Corriere della Sera, Fangyou Zhang, president of Gac, was satisfied, saying: “With this opportunity we can work with leading brands in Europe and the United States, working towards the goal of globalization.”
