FORMULA E, IN CHINA PART OF THE WORLD ELECTRIC SEAT. FOR ITALY’S TEAM OF THE Michela Cerruti Jarno Trulli
Sunday, September 13th begins the era of Formula E, the new championship for electric cars that will debut in China, on the streets of Beijing. Reserved for single-seater electric 200 kW (270 hp), the season, which is a point of the port of research and development for zero-emission vehicles will take the car Spark-Renault SRT_01E. Renault is also the title sponsor of the team e.dams, created by Alain Prost, which will run the child of the same 4 times world champion Formula 1, Nicolas Prost, and Sebastien Buemi.
For Italy, the grid is Michela Cerruti, the 27 year old will be deployed by the team Trulli, run by former F1 Jarno, and his car driven by a power-state of the art unit that will develop 180kW. All activities for the Beijing E-Prix will be held Saturday, September 13 and the race is scheduled for 16:00 local time (10:00 am Italian) on a 3.4 km circuit set up around the “Bird’s Nest” stadium principal of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
The series launched by the FIA will draw 20 electric cars that will run on city tracks set up in some cities such as Miami, Buenos Aires, London, Berlin and Monte Carlo.
