MILANO PRET A PORTER, 22 BELLS AT THE FAIR BUSINESS
Twenty-two companies bells of the textile and clothing sector in Campania , selected following a public notice, will participate in ” Milano Prêt à Porter ” , scheduled at Fieramilano February 22 to 24 .
The regional participation in “Milano Prêt à Porter ” is part of the plan to strengthen the promotion and development of Made in Campania , activated by the Region of Campania with the coordination of Productive Activities , through the implementation of interventions to improve the positioning of the traditional sectors, and foster the promotion of the productive sectors of excellence.
“Milano Prêt à Porter ” has been identified by the Region of Campania under the plan exhibitions in 2014 and is a strategic platform for leading manufacturers in the fashion sector from all over the world.
In the three days of the exhibition are more than 200 exhibitors expected , the presence of 150 brands, 3,500 buyers of which 30% are foreigners figures that make it a landmark event for the industry.
In Campania there are approximately 10,000 companies in the fashion / textile ( 8% percent of the national share ) . In terms of exports , according to data from the Bank of Italy , there was an increase in exports by 8 , 8 per cent in clothing, 8 , 1 and 5.5 in footwear in leather goods .
Regarding the performance of the individual provinces , Naples, Infocamere data , it ranks third nationally , after Rome and Milan , the number of companies ( 5 thousand ) , and employees ( about 7 thousand ) in the fashion industry .
